Reception and registration
Year 1 (semesters 1&2)
To be registered in year 1, the candidates must satisfy at the entrance examination tests, an examination aiming at assessing the candidates’ motivations as well as his visual and intellectual possibilities. The candidates must be over 18, 26-year-old maximum and give proof of the baccalaureate or an equivalent foreign diploma.
This entrance examination is made by the following assessments:
• An interview with the jury dealing with the cultural acquired knowledge, the critical analysis and the candidate’s motivations,
• A file of art works eventually realised in the scholar framework and showing a particular interest for arts (notebooks, photographs, videos, paintings, sculptures…).
• A practical test;
• A written, assessment dealing with general culture from a book reading.
• A written language test in order to assess the candidate’s level of comprehension in one of the suggested languages (English, German, Spanish). For the non-French-speaking students, a French test is planed.

Deadline for the registration form’s submission on April the 23rd of 2010
Dates of the examination: May the 10th, 11th and 12th of 2010.
The candidates are convened during one of those days.
The candidates who passed the examination must then fill the inscription forms.
During the curriculum
Candidates holder of a French or foreign diploma of visual or applied arts can ask to integrate the school through the Equivalence National Commission of the Department of Culture or the Achievement Local Commission for the candidates who come from other art school accredited by the Department of Culture and Communication.
Satisfying to the following tests:
Phase 1: Sending a personal file to the secretariat (20 works maxi.) paper size 21x29.7 cm accompanied by a motivation letter (10 lines maxi.) indicating the chosen orientation.
The non-French-speaking students must possess the TCF (Test of French knowledge), level B2.
Candidates will be informed by mail of the result of this pre-selection.
Phase 2: For eligible candidates, an oral interview with a jury of teachers. They will defend their personal works original application file eventually completed.

Once admitted in year 1 or along the curriculum, send back the registration form completed in all the established conditions; pay the registration fees (for 2010-2011, those fees will reach €445 + a medical visit and eventually the social insurance).
